Get in the Game!

The NJ Chapter of the Community Associations Institute held their annual Conference and Expo on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the NJ Convention Center in Edison. Sparkling Pool Services, Inc. has been an active participant in the Expo for many years, with themed booths and displays that never disappoint. This year was no exception! Sparkling Pools expanded on the Expo's "Get in the Game" theme with their own version: "Get in the Game For Someone Else!" Sparkling Pools chose to raise funds at the Expo for a 501c3 charity called Stomp the Monster. This organization provides financial and other support to cancer patients, their families, and caregivers when they need it most during their fight with the disease. Wearing basketball uniforms and with a custom built mini court and hoop, Sparkling Pools employees proceeded to 'bet' with the Expo attendees. If the shot was missed, the shooter donated $5 to Stomp the Monster. If the shot went in, Sparkling Pools covered the bet for the shooter. We are pleased to announce that a grand total of $1,352 was raised for Stomp the Monster! Thank you to all who participated and donated!

Everyone who attempted a basket was also invited to drop his or her business card into a drawing for an iPad2. The lucky winner was Marianna Piazza.
